2011 will be the 19th year in which Plazey celebrates the start of the summer in Brussels. This year’s edition will see many big names distributed across two stages, featuring street theatre, mobile music-making, visual surprises and children’s entertainment. Stretched out in front of the Basilica, Elisabeth Park is at its most seductive during Plazey. Here you can enjoy delightful food and drinks, served by a team of enthusiastic people. Need we say more? Plazey is the perfect place to bring out the hedonist in both young and old. Plazey is an organisation under the auspices of the Brussels community centres De Platoo (Koekelberg), De Zeyp (Ganshoren) and Essegem (Jette). Admission is free.

Nice review, Heidi. I drove up on Saturday afeornton to catch the Lips, but I enjoyed many of the other bands playing. I did not like that you had to buy tickets in groups of 10, especially when you get close to the end of the evening and just need bottled water.

I am really daippsointed with the VIP package offered for the Europe tour. Yes, there is a lot of things offered but the reality is circa a3630 in the current financial climate and so close to Christmas is unrealistic. Its is well over priced in my opinion. To put it into context, for that price, I could fly to the States and see the band live and probably go VIP too! However, that being said, if there was individual VIP packages for smaller parts of the tour (at a reasonable price)I would buy them.
